BenSESA to upgrade public cemetery, clears bushes at Ankpa Ward cemetery

…move for upgrade to international standard.

The Benue state Environmental Sanitation Authority (BenSESA) has cleared off bushes at the public cemetery at Ankpa Ward and has put modalities in place to upgrade the facility to international standard as misusers are asked to turn a new leaf in their mode of using the facility.

The General Manager, BenSESA, Mrs Nashima Jennifer Daniel explained that the work towards upgrading the facility shall commence very soon and the facility would be partitioned into sections for easy usage.

“The aim is curtailing the rate at which the facility is being misused. Gov. Hyacinth Iormem Alia is poised towards reviving every sector of the economy for the overall benefit of every Benue citizen, hence the move to start the exercise this way.”

Mrs Daniel pointed out that, as the facility has been tidied, it would be partitioned into sections as some sections would be put to use while the other sections remain on fallow pending its subsequent use.

She further appealed to the general public to take caution and follow the right procedures through her office for approval before corpses are buried, warning violators of BenSESA’s law safeguarding the facility.
