BNSG poised to end all forms of criminality

Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr Matthew Abo has re-stated the commitment of the Benue State Government, BNSG towards ending all forms of criminality in the state.

Mr Abo who stated this Saturday when Forum of Mbaagande Elites, FOME paid him a solidarity visit in Makurdi said, the recent launch of Benue State Civil Protection Guards and Security Joint Taskforce code named “Anyam Nyor” were some of the moves to achieve peace in the state.

He expressed appreciation to FOME for the visit saying he was overwhelmed with the honour and solicited support of Ukum people for him, Chief of Staff to the Governor Mr Paul Biam and Governor Alia administration to succeed.

Earlier, Chairman of the Forum Dr. Emmanuel Abo said the visit was to identify with Mr Abo who was their member on his elevation as member of the State Executive Council in the administration of Governor Hyacinth Alia and encouraged the Information commissioner to always follow the foot steps of his principal to succeed in all facets of life.

Two members of the forum, Mr Orhirga Maikyo and Bernard Bem Mngu affirmed that, the elevation of Mr Matthew Abo as Commissioner was a reward for hard work, commitment, perseverance and pledged the support of the forum for him to succeed.

Highlight of the event was the dressing of Mr. Abo and his wife in Tiv Traditional Attire as a symbol of respect and love during the visit.
