MYDEVO urges Nigerians to pray for Tinubu

The National President of Middle Belt Youth Development Organisation (MYDEVO), Comrade Chris Aba has sued for prayers from all Nigerians for God’s wisdom to enable President Bola Tinubu to reposition the country.

Comrade Aba in a new year message issued on Wednesday stressed the need for Nigerians to be resilient and  committed to the realisation of the dreams of the nation’s founding fathers and those placed in positions of authority.

The message issued by the Director, Media and Publicity, MYDEVO, Prince David Odama, said the country was facing challenges and the citizens  must remain committed to unity and peaceful co-existence for national development.

“The present hardship being faced by Nigerians call  for them to be more patient as the current reforms of President Bola Tinubu will yield positive and beneficial results in the years ahead.

“I strongly believe that what we are  currently passing through will soon be over if  all hands are on deck to make sure that the renewed hope agenda is actualised in all sectors of the country,” he said.

The National President while congratulating  Nigerians, especially the Middle Belt citizens  for making it to the new year, lauded  both the youths and other stakeholders in the region for believing in the administration of President Tinubu despite challenges bedeviling them.

He expressed  hope that with the collective support of all the citizens , the  country would soon overcome its challenges and take its rightful place among other nations.

Comrade Aba also called for massive support for all the governors across the country even as he charged leaders to initiate policies that would address the current hardship in the country.

He equally stressed the need for more funding in the sports, describing the sector as a rallying and melting point  for the unity, peace and development of the nation.

According to him, MYDEVO  would continue do its best  to ensure that youths who are the vulnerable in the society are engaged in  productive ventures that could make them useful to themselves and society at large.

” We are  committed to ensuring the success of President Tinubu government, reduce youth restiveness  by staging a Tinubu Unity Youth sports  competition, where youth  will compete as a contribution towards enhancing the unity and peaceful co-existence of Nigeria as well as improving  the wellbeing of rural dwellers and combating insecurity  at the grassroots level.

” There is need for Governors  to be more committed to the development of sports  sector. This is due to the fact that  a new standing order is being  put in place towards  youth participation in governance in various communities  across the middle Belt region and the  country at large,” he added.

He, therefore charged the youths to  stand up for a better tomorrow by avoiding all vices such as armed robbery, banditry, kidnapping, senseless killings; and join hands with the government in the fight against insecurity in the country.
