Breaking: Sev-Av emerges Tor Sankera II

Former Benue ALGON chairman, Hon. David Sev-Av has emerged as Tor Sankera II after garnering a total of 38 votes out of 44.

His closest contender, Tiza Terkula Suswam got 4 votes while Hon. Thomas Mlanga secured a vote and the other vote was invalid.

Declaring the result, Tor Kwande, Chief Ambrose Iortyer who represented the Tiv Area Traditional Council, advised the winner to be a king of his people.

Recall that Tor Sankera stool has been vacant since last year after the first occupant, HRH, Abu King Shuluwa joined his ancestors and to fill the gap, a selection process was carried today, Wednesday which involves election and that was how the Ukum born philanthropist defeated over 40 other contenders to clinch the seat.
