Benue State Commissioner for Information, Culture, and Tourism, Hon. Matthew Abo, has revealed that the federal government’s soil investigation for the Wurukum flyover has saved the state approximately N12 billion.
While inspecting projects in Makurdi, Hon. Abo praised Governor Alia’s administration for its remarkable infrastructure development, particularly in township roads and rural areas.
In his 17 months in office, Hon. Abo noted a commendable change in the state, igniting hope and improving the well-being of Benue people. He emphasized that Governor Alia’s infrastructure push has no parallel in the state’s history.
The commissioner highlighted other development projects, including drainage construction, transportation system upgrades, medical equipment procurement for Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BUSTH), and education sector investments.
These efforts have earned Governor Alia the confidence of Benue people, transforming Makurdi into a beautiful and attractive city.
