The family of Benue State Deputy Governor, Barrister Sam Ode, has announced the burial arrangements for their son, the late Engr. Ode Gabriel Ode, who is the Deputy Governor’s elder brother.
According to the burial arrangements released on Monday and signed by Air Vice Marshal John Ode (Retired) on behalf of the family, funeral proceedings will commence on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, with a Service of Songs/Night of Tribute at The Dream Event Center, Kashim Ibrahim Road, Makurdi, at 4:00 pm.
It further revealed that, on Thursday, June 12, 2025, a Christian wake will be held at 19 David Mark Way, Old Otobi Road, GRA Otukpo, at 5:00 pm. The following day, Friday, June 13, 2025, the body will depart Airforce Base Hospital, Makurdi, at 6:00 am for Otukpo, where a Requiem Mass will be held at Norcross Memorial Methodist Cathedral.
Final internment will take place immediately after the Requiem Mass at the family compound in Edikwu, Otukpo.
