The Champion Newspaper has awarded the Managing Director of Benue Printing and Publishing Corporation (BPPC), Mr. Joel Mtsor (Shimatex), the Best Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2024.
The award was presented during the newspaper’s Annual Award event recently held at Eko Hotels, Lagos, where Mr. Mtsor was specially recognized for his impact in the business world.
Reacting to the award, the MD dedicated it to God and to the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia, for providing him with the platform to contribute to the state’s economic growth through BPPC. He also dedicated the award to his wife, Mrs. Yemisi, and their two daughters.
In a congratulatory message, a BPPC staff member, Hilary Agbo, praised the MD’s passion and commitment, saying, “Your new tech-innovative approach to enterprise in the business world, especially in Benue State, has benefited many youths. Today, someone like me can boast of a good job in this town.”
Mr. Mtsor received the award alongside top business personalities in Nigeria, including Dangote, Obi Cubana, and Zenith Bank PLC.
