The Chairman of Gwer West Local Government, Benue State, Hon. Ormin Torsar Victor, has charged the Acting General Manager of Benue State Environmental Sanitation Authority (BENSESA), Hon. Chief Anta Igbaato, to make the local government proud through good performance as the GM. He emphasized the need for every policy in the environmental sub-sector to be implemented to the letter.
A statement signed by the Information Officer, BENSESA, Mr. Iorver Simon, stated that Hon. Torsar gave the charge during a courtesy call on the Ag. GM in his office in Makurdi on Wednesday. Hon. Torsar advised the GM to work hard to keep the Benue environment clean always and strive to make the state one of the cleanest in the country.
“We are always ready to assist our son, Hon. Chief Igbaato, to perform optimally on this life-saving assignment, as his performance symbolizes the performance of the entire Gwer West in his assigned duties,” Hon. Ormin said. He added that he was in his office to congratulate him on his well-deserved appointment by the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, and offer fatherly counsel.
Earlier, Hon. Chief Anta Igbaato thanked the Chairman, describing his visit as the love of a father to a son. He said the Chairman’s wise counsel had eased the task of his job. The Chairman, Hon. Ormin Torsar Victor, was accompanied by his Deputy, Hon. Juliana Wasega, Chief of Staff, Hon. Orya Stephen, and others during the visit.
