Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has transmitted the first batch of Commissioner nominees to the Benue State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The nominees are: Hon. Theresa Odachi Ikwue, Hon. Dr. Benjamin Ashave, Hon. Dr. Margaret Ijaguwa Adamu, Hon. Dr. Peter Oboh Egbodo, Dr. Yangien Timothy Ornguga, Hon. Denis Iyaighgba, Hon. James Dwe and Dr. Paul Ejeh Ogwuche
The Governor, in a statement on Friday morning signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, said a second batch of nominees is expected to be forwarded to the House of Assembly in the coming days.
According to the statement, the Governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to transparency, competence, and inclusivity in the selection of individuals who will drive its vision and mission for the state.
