Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has joined family, friends and millions of Nigerians to felicitate with Nigeria’s former Military Head Of State, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, on his 84th birthday anniversary.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula on Sunday, the Governor describes the former leader’s 84 years as those of outstanding accomplishments and great personal fulfilment, stressing that attaining such an age shows God’s grace, benevolence and mercies.
According to the statement, Governor Alia acknowledges the historical role the former Military Head Of State has played in shaping the political and economic development of the country.
The Governor further prays for more of God’s sustenance and strength for the octogenarian.
