Gov Alia appoints The Voice Editorial chair, others perm secs

Governor Hyacinth Alia has approved the appointment of thirteen new Permanent Secretaries in the Benue State Civil Service. Among them is The Voice Editorial Board Chairman, Dr Elvis Ogenyi

Also appointed are Edor Martha, Ogaagbenu Elijah Agweye, Nambativ Helen Zeremo, Hough Terwase Cephas, Engr. Ikyaaza Donald Wakwagh and Ihu Eunice Ogbenyi.

The appointment of the officers, according to a statement signed by the Head of Service of Benue State, Dr. Moses Agbogbo Ode, today is aimed at repositioning the Benue State Civil Service in line with the policy document of the present administration.

He congratulated the appointees and enjoined them to see their appointments as a call to service and to put in their best to justify the confidence reposed in them.

The statement further stated that the date for the swearing-in ceremony of the appointees will be announced in due course.
