The Board member representing Niger State at the North Central Development Commission, Hon. Zakari Jikantoro, has expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for appointing him as one of the Board members of the Commission.
In a statement signed on Wednesday, Hon. Jikantoro acknowledged President Tinubu for the opportunity given to him to serve in the Commission and assured Nigerians and the people of Niger State that he will put in his best to contribute his quota to the development of the North Central Region.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the mandate set to be achieved by the Commission is attained vigorously and with due diligence. Hon. Jikantoro further reaffirmed his loyalty and allegiance to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party by making sure that it is kept on the path of progress for the overall good of the country and Niger State, which he represents in the Commission.
The member equally appreciated the former Niger State Governor and Senator representing Niger North Senatorial District, Senator Abubakar Sani Bello, for his tremendous and overwhelming support in his emergence as a Board Member. He further acknowledged the Governor of Niger State, Umaru Bago, and the people of the state for recognizing him, and emphasized that by working together, the North Central Region will be taken to greater heights.
