Ogbeh ‘s Death: Hon. Msoo Commiserates with Family, Benue, Nigeria

The Benue State gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2023 elections, Hon Msoo Llewellyn Ghasara, has commiserated with the family of Chief Audu Ogbeh, the Idoma nation, the Governor of Benue State, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, the good people of Benue state as well as Nigeria over the passing away of the political icon.

Hon. Ghasara, in a statement he personally signed and made available to The Voice on Tuesday, described Chief Audu Ogbeh as a respected Benue-born politician, elder statesman, and a patriot who dedicated his entire life to the service of Benue state and Nigeria at large.

According to the former gubernatorial candidate, “Chief Audu Ogbeh left a legacy of honour, integrity, and selfless service to the state and the nation in his various capacities as a two-time minister and national chairman among other national duties to his fatherland with remarkable wisdom, purpose, and passion in the dispensation of his duty.” He further added that his wise counsel, experience, and fatherly guidance will be missed by all, especially in the current political trajectory.

“On behalf of my noble self and family, we send our heartfelt condolences to Chief Audu Ogbe’s family, the Idoma nation, the people of Benue state, and Nigeria at large. We pray that God Almighty grant Chief Audu Ogbe eternal peace and his loved ones the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss and pray for his memory to continue to inspire future generations.”
